7 Days Kashmir Itinerary: A Escape into Land of Paradise
Day- 1:
Arrival in Srinagar airport. Transfer to Traditional house boats on dal Lake. Experience Shikara Ride in the evening, floating market views. overnight stay in House Boat.
Duration: 7 Days/6 Nights
Best Time to visit: March to June (Pleasant Weather, Tulip Bloom)
October to February (For snowfalls)
Day- 2:
Srinagar Sightseeing. Visit Mughal gardens (Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh,Chashme Shahi),Explore Sankaracharya Temple for panoramic views. Stroll through local markets for handicrafts. overnight stay in hotel in Srinagar.
Day- 3:
Drive from Srinagar to Sonmarg (approx 2.5-3 hours). Visit Thajiwas Glacier via pony ride (optional), enjoy river views and meadows. Return to Srinagar, Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day- 4:
Drive from Srinagar to Gulmarg (Approx 2 hours). Ride the famous Gulmarg Gondola (one of the highest cable cars in the world). Optional snow activities like skiing, snowboarding, sledding. overnight stay in Gulmarg.
Drive from Gulmarg to Pahalgam (approx. 4-5 hours). Enroute visit saffron fields & Avantipur ruins. Reach Pahalgam, check in and relax amidst pine forest. Overnight stay in Kashmir.
Day-5:
Day-6:
Pahalgam Sightseeing. Visit Betaab Valley, Aru Valley,. optional visit to Chandanwari (starting point of Amarnath Yatra), Leisure walk along Lidder river. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Drive back to Srinagar (2-3 hours). Spend the day shopping in Srinagar (dry fruits, pashmina, souvenirs). Departure from Airport.
